Hi, I’m Alysa, a Provisional Psychologist and PhD Candidate at CQUniversity where I research psychosocial risk in Emergency Services.
I enjoy supporting individuals manage the mental health impacts of when their daily environment (such as at school and work, places where we spend a lot of time) doesn't match their cognitive or psychological needs.
Whether you are a young person experiencing learning, cognitive or neurodevelopmental differences at school, or an adult feeling overwhelmed by workplace stress and burnout, I use strengths-based and person-centred approaches. I work alongside you to understand your individual strengths and help you learn to better manage ongoing stressors. I am here to help you build confidence and advocate for the practical changes you may need to succeed in various environments.
Alysa's practice is supervised by a registered psychologist.
Alysa commences with the Sage team in late September and will have availability for therapy clients on Monday and Tuesday. Alysa's assessment clinic will be Monday and Wednesday.
